Rigid Frame (RF) – clearspan buildings
Frames include tapered sidewall columns and tapered rafters. Girt condition can be bypass, flush or inset.
Span: 30’ to over 300’ (9.14 m – 91.4 m)
Eave Height: 10’ to 40’ (3.04 m – 12.19 m)
Roof Slope: 1/4:12 – 8:12
Rigid Frame buildings allow for the widest possible spans without interior columns.
Rigid Frame, Multi-Span (RF-MS) – multi-span buildings
Frames include tapered sidewall columns with pipe, hot-rolled or built-up interior columns and tapered rafters. Girt condition can be bypass, flush or inset.
Span: 80’ to over 500’ (24.38 m – 152.4 m)
Eave Height: 10’ to 40’ (3.04 m – 12.19 m)
Roof Slope: 1/4:12 – 8:12
Rigid Frame, Multi-Span buildings allow for maximum widths with the economical advantage of interior columns.
Tapered Beam (TB) – clearspan buildings
Frames include straight sidewall columns and horizontal bottom-flange rafters. Girt condition can be bypass, flush or inset.
Span: 20’ to 60’ (6.1 m – 18.29 m)
Eave Height: 10’ to 40’ (3.04 m – 12.19 m)
Roof Slope: 1/4:12 – 1:12
Tapered Beam buildings are suitable for smaller clearspan buildings.
Single Slope clearspan (SS) or multi-span (SS-MS) clearspan buildings or multi buildings
Frames are similar to Rigid Frame and Rigid Frame, Multi-Span. Roof slope is in a single direction to the low sidewall.
Span: 30’ to over 300’ (9.14 m – 91.4 m)
Widths to 500‘ (152.4 m) with interior columns
Eave Height: 10’ to 40’ (3.04 m – 12.19 m)
Roof Slope: 1/4:12 – 6:12
Single Slope buildings are ideal where roof drainage is a concern and must be directed to only one side of the building.
Lean-to clearspan (LT) or multi-span (LT-MS) clearspan buildings or multi buildings
Frames include a low-side column and a rafter with no high-side column. At the high side, the rafter is supported by the parent building frame, sidewall or endwall column.
Span: 30’ to over 80’ (9.14 m – 24.38 m)
Widths to 300’ (91.44 m) with interior columns
Eave Height: 10’ to 40’ (3.04 m – 18.28 m)
Roof Slope: 1/4:12 – 4:12
Lean-to buildings are ideal for offices or other additional space attached to larger Rigid Frame clear-span or multi-span buildings.
